Proscenium Stage School - Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all students, parents, and guardians participating in programs, classes, and activities offered by Proscenium Stage School. By enrolling in our school, you agree to abide by the following:
1. General Policies
1.1. Classes are open to students of all skill levels unless otherwise specified.
1.2. Students must arrive on time, dressed in appropriate attire, and ready to participate.
1.3. All students and parents/guardians are expected to behave respectfully toward staff, instructors, and fellow students.
1.4. The school reserves the right to refuse admission or terminate enrolment for inappropriate behaviour or non-compliance with school policies.
2. Fees and Payments
2.1. All class fees must be paid in full by the 1st of each month, failure to do so will result in non participation in class.
2.2. Payment should be made through the Class4kids portal.
2.3. Fees are non-refundable unless in exceptional circumstances.
3. Attendance and Absences
3.1. Regular attendance is essential for student progress.
3.2. If a student is unable to attend, advance notice must be provided via email.
3.3. Missed classes are not refundable but may be made up if a suitable alternative is available.
4. Health and Safety
4.1. Students must disclose any medical conditions or allergies that could affect their participation prior to attending and if this needs updated going forward.
4.2. The school is not liable for injuries sustained during classes or events, except in cases of proven negligence.
4.3. In case of emergency, parents/guardians authorise the school to seek medical assistance for the student.
5. Media Release
5.1. By enrolling, students and parents/guardians grant permission for Proscenium Stage School to use photographs and videos taken during classes, rehearsals, or performances for promotional purposes.
5.2. If you wish to opt out of media use, please notify the school in writing.
6. Property and Liability
6.1. The school is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings.
6.2. Students are encouraged to leave valuables at home.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
7.1. The school reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., low enrolment, instructor availability).
8. Performance Policies
8.1. Participation in performances is optional but highly encouraged.
8.2. Additional fees for costumes or tickets may apply.
8.3. Rehearsal attendance is mandatory for students participating in performances, if students miss any rehearsals in the lead up to performance this may result in non participation in the show.
9. Code of Conduct
9.1. Bullying, harassment, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.
9.2. The school reserves the right to suspend or expel students for breaches of the Code of Conduct.
10. Privacy Policy
10.1. Personal information collected during registration is used solely for school operations and communication.
10.2. Your information will not be shared with third parties without consent.
11. Changes to Terms and Conditions
11.1. Proscenium Stage School reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
11.2. Changes will be communicated via Email.
